However, being casual friends is one thing--being professional acquaintances is another.

The contrast between these two relationships is dramatic. Our willingness to accept you declines steeply from the first to the second. We would love to add you onto that list of links on your right hand side, but of course, many websites will not fill our requirements for our affiliates.

Let’s clarify. To become an affiliate, these are the general prerequisites your website must fulfill:

• Must have something to do with the Hunger Games. It does not have to be a Hunger Games site, exactly--it only has to have some connection with the books that’s very obvious (this does not include reviews).


• Must look professional. This doesn’t mean it has to be the most beautiful site in the world--this just means that the layout must be elegant and the colors cannot blatantly clash with each other.


• Must be active. I don’t care if you had the most popular website five months ago if you can’t get one visitor each day anymore. To be more precise, let’s just shoot for a minimum of 4,500 monthly visitors. Proof must be provided!


• Cannot be personal blogs or websites.
