"Despite what may have been suggested, Kaya has not yet been given a hard copy of a script for THE HUNGER GAMES nor has she read one. There has been a suggestion that she would read one if the producers felt that they were interested in her. As of yet, this has not happened.

Kaya and her team are all very grateful to the fans of THE HUNGER GAMES who have considered her as a potential actress to take on the role of Katniss. It is obviously going to be an incredibly exciting project whoever ends up playing the central roles.
